Planning Process
Chowan County has initiated the preparation of updated Land Use Regulations for the Chowan County planning jurisdiction. Chowan County planning staff will work in concert with Insight Planning & Development to review the existing Unified Development Ordinance and create updated Land Use Regulations. These Land Use Regulations will be in a user-friendly format to address development in a coordinated manner throughout Chowan County.
